Pink shaded dates have already been reserved. We have a 7-night minimum stay for summer weeks (Memorial Day to Labor Day), a 3-night minimum for holiday weeks, holiday and parade weekends, and a 2-night minimum for all other weeks. Standard check-in is at 4:00 p.m. and check-out is at 10:00 a.m

The Griscom House does not allow events such as weddings or parties, and does not rent to prom groups.  The minimum age to rent is 25 years.  


Cleaning fees & and security deposit

There is a $600 after stay cleaning fee, and a $1,000 security deposit, which is 100% refundable if there is no damage and the house is left as found.  This includes moving back any furniture that is moved from its original place; and leaving the pillows, shams and bedspreads made up on the original beds.  Unfortunately, our cleaning service does not move furniture as part of their clean fee.  100% refund of your security deposit is also dependent on timely trash and recycle "duties" which are posted on the refrigerator.   

Early Check-in and Late Check-out fees

Granting an early check in or late check out during the off season will be considered as requested but is completely dependent upon prior and subsequent reservations and will carry a minimum extra charge of $50.

Use of elevator fees

If you would like the use of the elevator for your stay, there is a $500 charge for weekly rentals, $200 for weekends.

Extra guests fees

The house can accommodate 25 guests maximum.  For capacity over 18 people, there is a fee of $75/person/night for the number of nights the guests stay.


The Griscom House provides clean mattress pads, blankets, pillows, and bed coverings.  Please rent bed linens and bath towels through a service, such as linenladies.com. Linen ladies will provide a discount for our house.
